The RM-Z250 is a purpose-built motocross race bike — not a trail bike dressed up to look the part. It's what serious 250F riders choose when results on the track matter.

The 249cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke is fed by a dual-injector EFI system with a center-port cylinder head. The twin-injector setup — with one injector at the throttle body and a second in the air cleaner inlet — improves combustion efficiency and lifts power across the full rev range. A traction management system reads throttle position, engine speed, and gear selection continuously, adjusting ignition timing and fuel delivery to keep the power hooking up. The Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) adds a selectable launch system derived directly from Suzuki's factory race program — two modes to suit conditions, from controlled launches on hard pack to aggressive exits on better traction.

The chassis is built around a twin-spar aluminum frame — lighter and stiffer than the previous generation — with a hydroformed swingarm that sheds weight without giving up rigidity. KYB supplies both ends of the suspension: a coil spring fork up front and a rear shock with four-way damping force adjustment. A 270mm wave-style front rotor with a Nissin two-piston caliper handles braking, with the rear master cylinder tucked tight to the frame to keep mud out and boots clear. Dunlop Geomax MX33 tires on D.I.D. Dirt Star rims complete the package.

Renthal tapered handlebar, slim bodywork for cockpit freedom, and fuel couplers included for quick EFI tuning at the track. The RM-Z250 is built to race — if that's what you're here for, it's ready.
