The 8000ROK is Coachmen's entry into the ultra-light camping trailer market — 12'4" long and 1,724 lbs unloaded, it's the kind of unit that opens up camping to people who've never thought of themselves as trailer people. With a 255 lb hitch weight and a GVWR of 2,255 lbs, it tows comfortably behind a compact SUV or a capable car, which changes the math on who can realistically own a trailer.

Inside, the bench seating folds down into a 38"×72" sleeping area. A portable table gives you a surface for meals or cards, and open shelving keeps the essentials within reach. The real standout is the exterior camp kitchen — a door opens to reveal a slide-out griddle, so you're set up to cook outside with proper prep space rather than balancing a camp stove on a picnic table. The 7' power awning gives you shade right over the kitchen door.

With 26 gallons of fresh water on board and no gray or black tank capacity, the 8000ROK is built for sites with hookups or campers comfortable with the simpler outdoor approach to water. If you need full facilities onboard, the larger ROK models have more. But if you camp light and want something you can actually pull with the vehicle you already own, the 8000ROK is hard to argue against.
